How much does it cost and what is included?

After a FREE 14-day trial, Baker's Track is only $12 USD per month or $120 USD per year (2 months free!). We offer one plan that includes access to ALL features.

Why does this cost more than other order management software?

There are many free organizational tools which are suitable for hobby bakers, but Baker's Track was built for bakers who need a system that is catered specifically to their business. We believe our price point is minimal for you while allowing us to cover our operating costs, growth of the software, and dedicated customer service. If you calculate how many hours a month you spend on administrative tasks instead of fulfilling additional orders, you will see you can’t afford NOT to use our software.

What if I don't need it every month? I don't bake full time?

We understand many bakers only sell during the holidays. If you don't need Baker's Track every month, simply PAUSE your account. You will only be charged $2 per month to cover data storage fees. Pausing will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

Can I still access my account if it is paused?

Yes, but your account will be read-only. You can see your past sales and reports for bookkeeping purposes but will not be able to utilize other features. Pausing your account also means your work and sales history are saved so when you re-activate your account, you do not need to start over.

Can I switch my subscription plan?

Yes, you can change your plan at any time in the Billing Settings section of your account. The new plan will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle, except when re-activating your account after being paused. Re-activation will happen immediately, and you will be charged a pro-rated fee of $10 (since you've already paid $2 towards the $12 monthly fee).

Can I cancel my account? 

Before canceling, we ask that you contact us with any concerns to see if they can be resolved. If you aren't completely satisfied, you can cancel your subscription's automatic renewal at any time. You will continue to have access to your account until the end of your subscription, which will not be renewed at the end of the billing cycle. Subscription payments will not be refunded or pro-rated for canceled accounts.

Do I need to download anything to use Baker's Track?

No, Baker's Track does not require any downloads. This is a web-based program that can be used on any device, anywhere with an internet connection.

Will it work on various devices?

Yes. Though we prefer to work on larger screens, Baker's Track is compatible with any device that has internet access. Use your PC, Mac, tablet, or phone.

Is Baker's Track available outside of the USA?

Yes! Baker's Track is available everywhere that Stripe accepts payments; including North America, parts of South America, Europe, Australia, etc. However, at the moment, Baker's Track is only available in English with USD pricing for your products. We plan to add language and currency options in a future update.

Where is my data stored?

Your account information is safely stored on our dedicated secure server.

Do you store my payment information?

No, all subscription payments are done through Stripe. Baker's Track does not have access to your payment information.

Will you sell my information?

No, Baker's Track will never sell your information.

What are Cottage Laws and why are they important?

Cottage Laws are laws that US-based home bakers are required to follow. Every state has different laws, and you are required to know what restrictions your state has in place. Cottage laws typically cover what you can sell, where you can sell, whether you can ship your products, and labeling requirements. Commercial and international bakers will have different regulations. Baker's Track is not responsible for your compliance with any local laws or regulations.

Is Baker's Track a website builder?

No, we don't believe a traditional website is an efficient way for bakers to present their revolving menu of products. Our product library allows you to easily change your order forms as often as you'd like, instead of having to restructure an entire website.

Do I have to use social media to use this?

No, your profile link serves as its own URL that is not dependent on social media. We do promote using your link with social media profiles as it is a great way to advertise and is where most bakers manage their customer base.

Can I add a gallery of my work to my profile?

While you can upload photos for each product you offer, we chose not to include a gallery feature. Baker's Track was meant to work in conjunction with your social media profiles, which serve as your gallery. By adding your Baker's Track link to your social media bio, your customers can view your work then place an order using your link.

What if I have an idea for a new feature?

We have many features planned to make Baker's Track the only software you need for your business, so please let us know how we can improve your experience. You can submit any suggestions to support@bakerstrack.com. Also follow us on social media to be notified when we plan new updates.
